Luton’s remarkable church can be seen framed in the window at the end of the vast indoor shopping centre. Along one side is the old high street, whilst on the other is the River Lea and the little streets where the hat industry was once concentrated. This section is a short walk between Luton’s two stations – but it can take some time, as there is much to delay the walker.
