The Olympic Park Walk route is now largely closed but it is still possible to see the changing landscape.
The best circular walk now available during the construction begins at Three Mills near Bromley-by-Bow Station. Retrace the Lea Valley Walk north along the towpath. It is necessary to cross the dual carriageway at the Bow flyover. Continue north alongside the blue fence. Just before passing under the low Northern Outfill Sewer go right up onto the Greenway.
Turn right along the high path which gives the best view across the Olympic Park. The stadium will be over to the left. The view to the right is of the former Bryant & May match factory with the City beyond. It is necessary to go downhill and pass under the Southend railway line before resuming the high path.
At the main road go right and cross the road at the traffic lights. Continue along the main road to cross the Abbey Lane junction and after a few yards go left to follow the Three Mills Wall River. The path leads back to Three Mills.
This route will change from time to time and occasionally the main Greenway may be briefly closed.
